Barcelona Essential Tour

This tour takes in the places that best represent Barcelona which we recommend to anyone visiting for the first time or for those with little time.

INFORMATION

• Montjuic Hill: A not to be missed panoramic view of the city from Montjuic in which we discover the site of the 1992 Olympics, the Poble Espanyol (Spanish village) and the Palau Nacional (MNAC, National Art Museum of Catalonia).
• Plaça Espanya. (Spain Square).
• Gran Via de las Corts Catalanes. (Grand Boulevard of the Catalan Courts)
• A tour on foot of the Gothic centre, the oldest part of the city, an bewildering labyrinth of squares, lanes and alleys. The walk includes:
• Roman Wall.
• Cathedral (with optional interior visit).
• Plaça de Sant Jaume. (Saint James Square). The ancient Roman forum stood right on this spot and is now the site of the seat of the autonomous government of Catalonia known as the Palau de la Generaltitat and the Ajuntament (Town Hall).
• Palau Reial Major. Grand Royal Palace.
• Visit the most “chic” avenue in the city, Passeig de Grácia. This avenue contains some of the most incredible examples of Catalan arquitectural modernism highlighted by Gaudí’s Batlló House and Milà House (La Pedrera).
• Sagrada Familia: The true emblem of Barcelona. A tour around the exterior explaining the significance of the current facades and its future construction. Being the pinnacle and masterpiece of Gaudí’s work, we highly recommend visiting the interior to top it off.

-without transport: 195 euros for groups of 1 to 6 persons. Extra hours cost 50 euros.
-with transport and chauffeur: 395 euros for groups of 1 to 6 people. Extra hours cost 100 euros. Taking this tour with transport and chauffeur is highly recommended.

The tour does not include:
- admission to the monuments.
